granted, it's snowing, and keeps snowing for weeks straight until the whole of Scotland is covered under snow. Then the electric grid fails causing no one to have any power in their homes. Then the wolves come and life as you all know it in Scotland ceases. Except for ♥i-love-you♥. He emerges as the god of the wolves and sets himself up as the unquestioned ruler of Scotland. With his new found power he creates a epic land that is internet user friendly. Millions flock there. Soon, drunk with power, he launches and attack on Europe. France immediately surrenders. The lone hold out is Andorra.

I wish that all that I said above would come true.

Okay, since you wish it, now to corrupt it. The Americans intervene and being the bomb first ask no question they end up destroying most of Europe. During the occupation all of Europe becomes like the U.S. so no more socialism. The Metric ceases to exist.
