Lurk more please. You see, whilst I love Asking Alexandria, they are not screamo. Nope. They are not, in any way, shape, or form screamo. Post-hardcore, maybe. So I'll be nice, since I love this band, and move this thread.

In the future, that is if you want to avoid being flamed, learn to tell the difference between screamo and music with screaming lyrics.

Oh and I was going to go see these guys on 2 June, but it is not looking like I will have the money.

Funny thing is, Asking Alexandria KILLS both of those bands. Granted BMTH has improved their music by leaps and bounds over their old shit, Enter Shikari still suck ass. haha

Heard about their Skid Row covers, checked em out, and they're def one of my favorite new bands. Holy FUCK what a voice on that dude and the music just SLAMS. I def wanna see them this year.

My favorite songs are Closure, Reckless Relentless, The Match, Hey There Mr Brooks, Last Episode, and To The Stage

...but I don't think of them as post-hardcore as much as metal...sleazy metal

.....Metal? Asking Alexandria? You're shitting me.

OT; They are supposedly playing at Fuel sometimes next month and I may go. I do love Fuel and their lattes and I haven't been in a really long time and I LOVE Asking Alexandria. The new cd is pretty good too<3

Kerrang reported on one of their gigs at the start of the year. they only gave them 2 stars. apparently they sucked.

As a postharcore band they are great! But they fail as a metal band

I've seen them live and I wasn't too impressed. Can't say I'm a fan of this band.

I actually like them. Seen them twice in concert and wasn't disappointed either time. Well, sort of the second time but that's only because they pissed off the venue and security threw everyone out. Still, that was pretty cool.

What did they do to piss them off?

I want their new album. It seems better than the other one stand up and scream. I couldn't wait to get it and I was so disapointed after I listened to it. Let's hope reckless and relentless will be better.

How does this have anything to do with this band? I'm guessing he/she thought that it was a thread in which you ask somebody by the name of Alexandria something...

I gotta be honest, after hearing these guys played on Turntable, I thought they were a steaming pile of dogshit =\ I thought the lyrics were contrived and moronic
