I went & got my Lip pierced a couple of days ago. But they've pierced it in wrong place it's way further down than were they marked it, it isn't even close to my lip. I was wonder should I leave it in until it has healed or just take it out now? What would be the best way to minimise any scaring?

I would say go ask eiher your piercer of another shop. or just see how you like it. if it still looks good and its not too uncomfortable, why sweat it?

Thanks for the reply. Yeah I'm thinking about just letting it heal, then deciding what to with it. I'm having no problem with the healing process, it's not uncomfortable at all. I was just wondering if I was to take it out now if it might be less likely to leave a noticable scar. The problem is I just think it looks funny cause it's to far down. Plus my main concern is I want to wear a ring once it is healed but I think it may be pierced to far down from my lip in order for me to do that. So I'm just feeling really disappointed.

Don't take this suggest to serious but I would sue that bitch that pierced your lip. He/She's so cock eyed. Lol jk.
Try putting a lip ring on and see how it looks. Make sure it's the small circled one. If it doesn't feel right and it's touching your lip then repierce it. And Dude it's gonna be hella hard for it not to scar so just face the facts.

know what you mean. I changed from 12's to 14's on my spiderbites and at first it was too tight. but I think my lower lip actually got thinner or something because they look fine now

go to the person who peirced it.. show them that they messed up then take the lip ring out and make them repeirce it for free:) and if they dont then threat to sue them

The thing that sucks is she is apparently a good piercer. The entire reason I went there was because I know people who go there to get there piercings & tattoos done. Plus my partner got he's snakebite done right after me & he's looks perfect. So I guess she wasn't paying attention when she did mine cause she didn't pierce it where she marked it. Or maybe she just didn't like me, lol.

that too. i peirced my left side of my lower lip a while back and tried to peirce the right side but it really didnt look right. so i'm sticking to the one

When I got my lip pierced the lady put a blue dot on my lip where she was going to pierce it to see if that was where I really wanted it. Same thing when she pierced by friend's nose. Every time I have watched someone get a piercing the piercer has done this. I just assumed the all did.

Nah my partner got snakebites done but mine is just the one on my right side. She did do the whole thing where she marked it first & showed me but when she actually pierced it she pierced further down then where she had put the mark.

first off, congrats on having the balls to get your lip pierced!!!! im still worrieing about the pain so im waiting to get my industrial and snake bites done. I have a question and advice. Go to the lady and put on your puppie dog eyes and say, "you peirced this guyes lip the way i wanted but not mine, is their any way you can fix it*bats eyelashes*??" If she/he says no then threaten to sue!!!!!
My question is how bad did it hurt. Half the people i talk to says it didnt hurt at all and the other half said it kills. How bad did it hurt for you???

ok then...... thanks for being an ass to me. I dont fake it, i would never do that!!!!! i dont like pain when im consious. I rage out and black out and when i wake up, im in the hospitle because my mother found me on the floor covered in blood cause i cut up my arm or almost dead cause i OD'ed on my meds. So thank you for bringing up bad memories and calling me a poser, i really apriciate it

For me it literally didn't hurt at all. It's probably the most painless piercing I've had. But when my partner got it done he reckons that he's hurt. Not unbearably but he described it as a strong pinching sensation. The reason that you're getting different reponses from different people is because I think it's different for everyone. So it's hard to say how you will find it. It really depends on how high your pain threshold is.
