Mothers Day Help

So..my father already got my mom a magnolia tree because that's the only thing she wanted, because she doesn't like getting random crap to clutter the house. There's nothing else she wants (except to feel better which I don't blame her) but I still wanna do something for her/get her something. I've been doing all I can to take care of her and the house and stuff so right now I can't think of anything else I can DO for her.
Here's my dilemma, the only thing I could think to really give her is a letter telling her everything I thought and how much I loved her and what she means to me and stuff. It sounds good but here is where the problem comes in...My sister.
My mom already told me this morning how she's glad I've been here for her and without me she didn't know what she would do, but I could easily tell she was refurring to how my sister didn't give a damn. All my sister has been doing is making excuses and choosing her bf's family over her own mother and it's bothering her more and more everyday since she got home.
So I'm afraid that if I write her the letter, even though I know she WILL be happy, that she's just going to get really, really, really upset because my sister ISN'T there for her and doesn't act like she loves her and stuff and I don't wanna upset her.
So I guess what I'm asking is should I do it anyway and hope it doesn't upset her more than it makes her happy or think of something totally different?

My mom wants a new ipod and a letter saying that I'm going to graduate college. I'm also cooking for her and I was thinking teriyaki salmon. I don't know. I need to get a card too. And I was going to get her a really pretty white lily.

Honestly I don't want to. If I do she's not gonna wanna stay long and she's just gonna rush so they can see HIS mother to spend the day with. I'm going to try..I just don't want her to cry..

Peace Lily.
I'm not gonna MAKE her do anything..but if SHE doesn't, WE are going to have a long talk. And by WE..I mean SHE is going to sit and listen to me tell her exactly what she is. And yes she is..one of the biggest I've met.
She never calls unless she wants something anyway, we'll see what happens. Plus..I doubt she "has minutes" to call.
I love those!

The United States celebrates Mother's Day on the second Sunday in May. In the 1880s and 1890s there were several attempts to establish a Mother's Day, but they didn't succeed beyond the local level.[63] The holiday was created by Anna Jarvis in Grafton, West Virginia, in 1908 as a day to honor one's mother.[12] Jarvis wanted to accomplish her mother's dream of making a celebration for all mothers, although the idea didn't take off until she enlisted the services of wealthy Philadelphia merchant John Wanamaker.[64] She kept promoting the holiday until President Woodrow Wilson made it an official national holiday in 1914.[63] The holiday eventually became so highly commercialized that many, including its founder, Anna Jarvis, considered it a "Hallmark Holiday", i.e. one with an overwhelming commercial purpose. Jarvis eventually ended up opposing the holiday she had helped to create.[12][65] She died in 1948, regretting what had become of her holiday.[64] In the United States, Mother's Day remains one of the biggest days for sales of flowers, greeting cards, and the like; it is also the biggest holiday for long-distance telephone calls.[66]
