I bought my GF a Kindle as well as making her a little booklet out of some faux leather and card which i'll be trying to do tonight. Got my brother the special edition of the new Family Guy season, comes with a t-shirt and other stuff. Mum and dad got fairly usual stuff, like beer, CDs, books and Queen memrobilia.
What about you guys?

There's nothing really I want, except a way to get to school without riding the bus.
I'm getting: my sister an iTunes gift card
My best friend a hideous $30 clutch she wanted
Another friend a fossil brand necklace
My best guy friend those glow in the dark stars you put on your ceiling
My brother the Focus game (I think that's what it's called)
My mom expensive hand lotion

Instead I spent some of the £65 saved from my birthday on her. I got her a fancy small box of three mini Jack Daniels whiskey bottles (I, of course am not legal and got my big sister to buy it xD). I also already had got her a massive (and I mean massive!) box of thorntons chocolates. I also got her a house plant: a small orchid thing that she mentioned she liked. I spent £22 in total. She deserves it though, it took me a lot to spend that money... I hate spending money, even on myself.
I'm getting a few PS3 games (Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 2 & Assassin's Creed (I)) and Devil May Cry (I) on the PS2. I also remember her ordering a whole load of cheap Black Butler mangas off of amazon too. Like, four volumes. Before I had made a list of stuff I wanted and it only came to under £50, so at the time I could have bought it all with my own money anyway. Therefore, my mum asked me to add more since my list was the cheapest. I just added some perfume and a cheap watch (since mine broke). She told me that she just went out and bought other stuff too since she realised upon wrapping presents that my big sister had more.
Now that I think about it, with the money I still have left over I could have bought all of it by myself anyway... I have about £1800 saved in my bank account since I was little so I could always add to that with the money I have left. Although... my mum is getting a load of money soon since my dad owed her hundreds of thousands of pounds but he died and so after a six year battle it is finally being paid out to my mum and a lot of other creditors... no joke. She said that she was giving all three of us like £10,000 so we can pay for our own driving lessons and such in the future. She should really be putting a fair amount in her pension or something. We still haven't sold our old house which is worth £200,000 so when that gets sold... I just hope she doesn't spend it all on bras
I'm extremely happy now though. It means there will be less strain on her since she has a very low income due to her being a part-time working single mother with three kids and a deceased father... before he was dead he never paid any child fees anyway, making it twice as hard on her. Moving house really sis create a fresh start. We can forget daddy, auntie heather, all the wellcoats and start anew ^-^! It's all I could ever want for Yule.

I got my school books which makes me happy because I wanted to read them ahead of time before my semester begins again. I've got 2 of them read already and I have 7 more to read but it's not all that bad.
Then I got Napoleon China Doll foundation, Smashbox primer, and LORAC face powder which all together was about $150 so that was all I asked for actually, and my books.
I also ended up spending my whole pay check on my friends and parents. I got my mom this really pretty coral that she's been wanting to set on the table in the living room. I got my dad some sort of tool kit to go in his woodshop and because he's been asking for new one's. I made my really good friend a necklace, and got her a vampire necklace and the movie The Monster Squad. I got my other friend a disney snow globe because she collects them and a diamond hello kitty necklace that she's been wanting. I got another friend the new Mastodon CD that he's been gushing over for the past 2 months and my gay best friend a burberry scarf because that's pretty much all he wanted so me and 2 of my other friends pitched in and all got it for him.

Sounds like a typical guy. Guys are often clueless about things.
So I got a gift card to Barnes and Noble from my parents. Not bad considering I kept saying that I didn't want anything.

But I've been on staff all four years, I already have old papers.
Why didn't you want anything?
