So Is anyone else from Australia?
If so what part?
Im in the southern part. You know the suburb of Sydney called Adelaide. haha
It really bugs me when people think that Sydney and Melbourne are the only cities in oz.
Or when folk from the USA refer to their state by its initials, I mean Us Aussies can do that too.
So that'd be I'm from Adelaide, S.A. But I've never been to W.A. or N.T. Or Qld. But I have been to N.S.W. And Vic. But not Tas. And nearly went to A.C.T (was an hour away)
Ha so Australians can talk about their states in short too, just to confuse the rest of the world!
Damn I'm drunk I've had to re type every word twice.
So who eats Vegemite and timtams (not together though, that'd be yuck)
Anyone ever had a pet roo?
I've eaten them. Did you know that australia is one of the few countries that actually eats it's national animal, you can even buy roo steaks in the supermarket. Weird.
Could you imagine Americans eating the bald eagle? (Sorry, not meaning to offend)
Us Aussies are weird.
W drive on the right side of the road, which is the left, just to keep you confused, because left is right, and right is wrong.
Ok Ive said already that i've eaten roo, I've also had croc, and emu and shark.
Hehe I could also say that ive eaten bambi, skippy and jaws!
What other weird shit do us aussies get up to?
Ah... yes... Beer!
Why is american beer like making love in a canoe?
because it's F*cking close to water!
I won't mention english beer..... um something about it being piss-warm..... didn't say anything
(Sorry if it sounds like I'm picking on americans, I don't mean too. I'm a nice person. at least I hope I am.)
Sorry for the long randomness, its a side effect of too much beer.
If you're an Aussie where the bloody hell are ya?

In Berlin. Didn't like it. Don't like red meat that much. But they didn't have wraps with croc, so...
Hm...national animal of England...what would that be? I have no idea. What's the national animal of Germany?
Haha, I knew tha joke about American beer. They seem to get surpisingly fast drunk on it anyway...

LOL
National of Brittan.
Hmm let me think... I know the mascots are a lion and a unicorn (the aussie ones are a roo and a emu, we eat both) I haven't seen may unicorns, and as for lions I think you'd only find 'em in zoos.
So national animal.... badger at a guess

I decided to cheat!
The national animal of Brittan is the lion!
I don't know how that works. I always thought a countries national animal was from that country.
Come to think of it, the original english flag is red with three gold lions, maybe thats where it comes from.
Never too old to learn something new.
Feck I hate getting older. Its my Birthday today. and I just made myself a cake! Wish I could share it with you all!

Technically its also a draagon coz of george and the dragon (our flag (the english one not the uk one) is the cross of st george)
Also the lion represents our bravery and stuff apparantly. Lions are the king of beasts so therefore were trying to show we are the king nation. (yeh americas bigger but tbf theyre history was largely started by us, sorry americans if your offended but tis true, Your entire white population was originally immigrants, but then so was pretty much most of ours lol! 2 of the most powerful nations are just a bunch of immigrants
Yeh the badgers make sense lol... never seen one tho... maybe hedgehogs??? Does that just scream: Welcome to england! hme of the dullest animals in the world!

G'day Mate, chuck another shrimp on the barbie!
(I have never said that in my life by the way)
Ummm. Well we pretty much shorten words and stuff.
i.e. Ambo - Ambulance
Barbie - Barbeque
Bikkie - Biscuit/Cookie
Brekkie - Breakfast
Chuck a sickie - Take the day off.
Journo - Journalist
Arvo - Afternoon
Maccas - McDonalds.
Muso - Musician
Wow awesome I found an Aussie Slang website. (http://www.koalanet....lian-slang.html)
Bludger - Lazy person
Deadset - true
LOL just found this one..
Donger - penis.
WHAT THE FUCK?!
Barrack - Cheer loudly for favourite team.
Bloke - man/guy
Choof off - leave/depart
Chuck a spaz - Be angry (lol i say this...'so and so just chucked a spaz!)
Fair Dinkum - Genuine/true
Feral - Gross
Fruit Loop - Fool
Hoon - hooligan
Hooroo - Goodbye
Pash - a kiss
Muck up day - Last day of school, play pranks (for year 12s that is)
Rug up - keep warm
Rock up - Turn up
Root rat - someone looking for sex
Spewin' - very angry
Strewth - (be fucked if i know what that means exactly.) - its like an exclamation if something happens 'Strewth!'
Trackie daks - tracksuit pants
True Blue - patriotic
Up yourself - Inflated ego
Whinge - complain
Waggin' - truancy
Woop Woop - a uninteresting, not well known town i.e. He lives in Woop Woop. (I admit to saying this)
Wuss - coward (I say this too)
Zonked - exhausted.
Actually those ones above are the ones I say the most to be honest.
I don't know if they are particularly 'Aussie" I'm sure you have probably heard of many of them?
Maybe not I really don't know lol.

Maybe not I really don't know lol.
stuff i say usually from the above ones: Brekkie(Reminds me of the deluxe brekkie roll...yummmm), Arvo, Maccas(who doesnt), Bludger/bludge, Waggin'/ jiggin'(almost everyday), Wuss
and i had no idea that penis is also known donger
i've never heard anyone say it before
other stuff i use or know about: stingy(well not sure how to explain this one), poof - same as wuss, maggot - getting drunk(for ex. get maggot), your mum jokes(probably the most common thing here), dickhead/pisshead/shithead(most of you should be aware of this one), another one which my friend uses is "cumface/shitface"(self explanatory), shizzle - rap/slang word for sure(for ex. for shizzle instead of for sure) , also Skull/Skol (a beer) : to drink a beer in a single draught without taking a breath(have bad experiences with this word)
and well i have this friend who can't speak proper english so instead of mother fucker he says "moffucker" and the way he says it is really funny.......so most of my friends kinda use moffucker instead of mother fucker these days
hey i just went to the website to check it out
and it says "Cockroach : a person from New South Wales "............wtf i never realised that im a cockroach
and most people here might be a bit worried after looking at the website.......but seriously 90% of the people i've been with only use about 5% of the slangs from the website....................oh but if you go to country australia.........you never know.........they have a really weird accent and well i guess they use most of the slangs on that website
