Do you like them? Do you hate them? Are you neutral?

Tell us about what you have and what it means to you.

What you want to get and so on......

I personally am thinking about getting a chest piece that says simply "Everything Comes From Nothing" in a fancy script. Just another simple but true idea that popped into my head.

I love tattoos, and plan to get several during the next few decades.
Unfortunately, your chest piece idea sounds pretty cliche, but if you can make it work then go for it.
Just don't get brass knuckles or swallows. Or praying x'd up hands.

Yea you're right about chest pieces being cliche, but does anybody really really do existentialist tattoos? If you really think about it "Everything Comes From Nothing" not only touches on the state that I'm in and where I am going, it being a metaphor for touching rock bottom and only having to go up from there. But the sense of existance, that we all came from nothing.

I have thought about the swallows, but they are so over done and nobody really knows their true meaning anymore. They would have been befitting, but everyone has them. And the brass knuckles are just a joke now.

i'm totally underage but i want just one tattoo.. even though my dad said he'd disown me if i got one xD
i want a smallish blue star outlined in black on my inside wristbone.. if that makes sense
i drew it there this one time and liked it so much i inked it in every day for like a week haha
so then i figured just as soon as i'm 18 it's going permanent...
4 more years!
but by then, my opinion might've changed
i'm more or less for tattoos.. i mean it's your own body
but i especially like tattoos that represent a period of your life
i think thats like the best idea ever xD

Yea I think that would be befitting as an entire back piece. A whole knight on my back would be nice.

Hmm... What about using that quote as your epitaph? (if you don't plan to cremate your dead body)

I think your tattoo design sounds like a nice concept, but unless you want it to look like everyone else's you may want to modify it a bit. Maybe add some color, or a style of writing besides the standard cursive? I'm sure quite a few people have gotten existentialist-themed tattoos, but I'm not necessarily knocking your idea. I'm just saying that it may be a challenge to not have it look like many others out there. And maybe you're not particularly concerned with that.

Nay, I have bigger plans, MUCH bigger plans.
To raise an empire of steel from the ashes of ruin.

If I ever get tattoos I'd want a lot of them. I'll try to explain what I'd want. I'd like a sleevetattoo on my left arm, going all the way to the right of neck. and I'd also like to have some sort of thing starting from my left upper leg to my ribs, on my flanks that is.

And tattoo yourself with an image resembling a necktie?

Firstly I'm not rich, secondly I'd like to run around in shirts when I got a job and thirdly, I'd have to die before I turn 50 or so.
I see. Have you thought of going into a profession that doesn't discriminate against the tattooed?
