I have $146 saved for my first tattoo. About 6 more months and I will get my first tattoo! Woot!

Yeah. It's 1 tattoo with 2 parts. I'm going to get half and he is going to get the other half.

It is, but it's what I have in my bank right now. I spend amounts of it and $146 is what I have left and I am not spending anymore whatsoever.

I'm getting a purple antique rose on my right elbow. I plan on working on my right arm first and then going to my back from there. Want to do section by section so it's not just a bunch of random tattoos.

How does it work normally, they charge you for however long it takes to do it? Or just charge you for the piece itself?

Typically they set out a design, and based upon the colours used and the difficulty, they will then quote you a price. They also factor in the time they think it will take them.

So last night I was thinking of tattoos and had a epiphany.
I want to get a tattoo inside my left ear (on the cartilage).
What do you guys think?
I've read that it doesn't hurt, but there aren't a lot of people to go off of.
I've also heard that the lines tend to blur?

I was thinking a traditional skull or a small flower

You would have to do something very small...it's an idea and an interesting one at that. Just do something that you are really going to like. I can see why they say the lines might blur, that would be the only thing I would really worry about.

I've been thinking about it and want to do waves.
I have a friend majoring in animation that is going to sketch some stuff up for me.
But yeah you're right about the blurring, I hope it wouldn't morph into a blob.

When you say inside, do you mean the side that's against your head? So no one could see it?
Sounds pretty cool actually, never thought of having one there. Like you say i don't imagine it would hurt and with where it is, if the lines blurred a little (i have no idea if they would or not) then it doesn't matter that much.

It'll be worth it when you get it..but Idk about right there. Only because I would do more research to see if it would blur or not
