DISS IN THE SLANDER SECTION!

Haha!! I don't mind them, I listen to them & so do most people on this forum to be honest. But it's just sometimes their lyrics make me cringe, they are the exact band people listen to if they are having boy/girl problems....& that is all the lyrics are about really. Not even are the lyrics clever, they are so typical of that type of music & aimed at whiney teenagers.

i disagree slightly, some (and only a few) of the lyrics are cleverly put and mean something other than "my heart is broken lets all commit mass suicide" but most of the time yeah.. it does mean just that! It makes me laugh how people just say "I'M SO EMO I LISTEN TO MCR!!!!"

Their lyrics aren't bad at all. The Black Parade was a little to 'wallowing in despair' but Three Cheers and Bullets have some really witty lyrics; songs that stand alone and act as part of the story

you can hate me when i say this but,i dont like my chemical romance.well i use to until i found out they were punk rock like green day.wait are they punk rock?i heard in a few forums their punk rock.i hate punk rock...i also hate mexican punkers but thats a different story

I didn't like Black Parade, hardly at all. You know the story behind that album? They wrote it for a dude with Cancer... I am pretty sure. I really Three Cheers. They seem to keep changing their sound.

Yes, but I wouldn't want a band I may like to start sounding like some other band. For Eg. I wouldn't want MCR to start sounding like Avenged sevenfold, or some random other band. I would want them to keep their general sound.

My Chemical Romance is not and has never been punk.
Green Day is pop punk.
And dude... just because some punk rockers are assholes doesnt mean their music sucks... I bet every "emo" band you listen to has punk influence.

Meh I still like that they change, music is suppose to be creative. I mean if every single band just stuck to their same general sound, that would shit.

I think people who whine about how MCR should keep making music that sounded like Bullets or Three Cheers, don't really get the band would hate to do that, because they're just the type of band who enjoy pushing themselves to do different things.

If they'd keep on doing what they did, people would say they aren't creative and keep doing the same stuff to make money. When they change their sound people complain that they do something different, and say they only do it for the money.
