i myself just searched the definition of "slander"

"Slander is spoken defamation, untrue words said aloud as opposed to written down."

Technically we are writing down our words, so maybe this forum category should be renamed..

Never heard of this band before seeing this post, the next day, i saw one of my mates listening to it on that msn music display thingy (. . . y'know the one) so decided id give 'em a listen. Went on their myspace and ok, its like what, 5 songs? Probably not a good sample of their music but
I HATED IT!!!!!!!!
Seriously, that was dreadfull, like listening to a suicidal cat (not dying, just complaining about life)
Pain for my ears. Although my view of them might increase if they changed the word 'sleep' to 'sheep' and then at least they'd have some kind of dramatic irony to laugh at even if their music is terrible beyond beleif.

How would i be banned for that last comment? that was tame compared to most of the abuse i give, that was actually quite a nice way to say i dont like a band, and after all, it is in music slander so you can hardly complain when its being slandered. . .

I refuse to take insults off of anyone who uses such overused and irritating phrases such as 'one by one the penguins steal my sanity', your either retarded and live under a rock so youve not noticed the thousands of other people that your copying this phrase from or penguins are actually stealing your sanity, in which case, why would i listen to a single word you say when your clearly stating you have no sanity.

Please try contradicting some stuff i say when you actually have a half decent taste in music, otherwise dont bother.

I actually just bouht the album 'What You Do When You're Dead' (or something like that) and it comes with a little light-blue booklet with instructions on what to do when youre dead .. I was like XD sweet ...

And murphyisaprick... my cousin is a fall river kid... and hes not a jackass like you .. but hes told me about you newcomers to the punk scene.. I mean Im not one to say much because Im new to the emo scene but he tells me that all of these kids who come to the punk scene think that they can just judge everything and he tells me that you kids think you can just rule the punk scene...

but whatever... I guess I wouldnt really know...

and as for good music... come on.. in all good fun.. I do listen to punk rock...

I wouldn't humor any of those bands by calling them 'punk.' True punk bands don't try to look the part, rather they just focus on what is most important, the message and the music. Look at the band 1905 for a great example of this.

Man, this is the first thing ive ever encountered on this forum thats pissed me off.
How dare you clasify me as a 'newcomer to the punk scene' when ive been brought up my entire life listening to bands like crass, penetration, x-ray spex, generation X, siousxie and the banshees and well, the list goes on. I was being taken to bradfords anarchist club from birth, my mum was rocking out and kicking the shit out of people like you back in the 70s, ive been influenced by punk my entire life, first live band i ever saw was buzzcocks and you have the cheek to say the FUCKING casualties are punk and claim that im some kind of poseur. I am well not impressed. Piss right off!
And im not trying to do the whole 'oh im so much more punk than you' thing with a list of things that might make me 'punk' but hell, i feel insulted that someboday has that opinion of me.

By the way, your cousin sounds like a dick, i recomend you stop listening what he says.
And yeah your right when you say you wouldnt really know. You know why? Because your a complete dick, now go back to being new to the 'emo scene'.
