well, yea. but they wouldnt see it that way. im gonna have a hard enough time convincing them to let me keep my hair long and die it black (but i can make them let me,i am devious :D lol) accually, i might consider it, but im still deciding.

having straight hair is far more important than having black hair.. trust me itll bite you in the ass if you dont have straight hair cuz your parents will go beserk when you have to wake up early to straighten it and shit.. you just wait...

i know its different because im a girl
but i ALWAYS straighten my hair
i never wear it curly
because i have the bad poofy kinds of curls
x.x
but if this helps at all...
i dyed my hair black like 3 years ago
(still black) and it hasnt affected the way i straighten it
the only problem is that i have to do touch ups like every month
x.x
which KILLS my hair.
right now im letting it grow out and it bugs me so much.
so if you are thinking about dying it black, think hard.
especially because the only way to get red in it is by bleaching it
and that indeed ruins your hair.
too much chemicals.
it didnt stop me, but i suggest you think hard about it.
<3
hopefully this helped a bit. =]

hey, as i said, im planning on dying my hair in a few months, after i let it grow. but my hair already has blond highlights in it, (which are perminant and in streaks throughout my brown hair) so will the highlights have any effect on my hair when i dye it?

can anyone help with this?

Scene + Curly = Syntax Error, Does not compute.

But Curly hair is awesome and highlights are silly in mine's eyes. Why limit oneself to the "scene" look?

Edit: Op is a guy?

... I'll just pretend I'm commenting a girl.

That's not really curly.....you could probably do that with a hair straightener.......if you just flick it out while you straighten it or something.....

Probably not, those sections might just be a tiny bit lighter than the rest. Then again, it looks more natural that way. And also, if you're letting your hair grow for a few months, then the highlights will probably be almost gone.

Hope I was some help :P

my curly hair drives me insane. i hate it with a burning passion.
i've straightened mine before but it doesnt suit me. so i just kinda ''deal'' with my curls . some days i wake up and it looks nice and i like it enough not to just tie my hair up. but i rarely get those kinda days so i just put my hood up when im out. i haattte it. blegh :c
