The only post emo bands I know of are Mineral (Great!), Texas is the Reason, Sunny Day Real Estate and Jimmy Eat World. Please enlighten me with some awesome, post-emo bands. Thanks!

Surprised American Football wasn't named.

Also the following bands started out as Post Emo, At The Drive In, Thursday, and Jimmy Eat World (check out their debut albums)

Post-Emo refers more to a certain sound than it does to timeline. Early Boys Night Out and early TBS is kinda stretching it.
for some good post-emo bands, try:

Snowing, Castevet, Algernon Cadwallader, Midwest Pen Pals, Merchant Ships, My Head In Clouds, 1994!, Football, ect., Empire! Empire! (I Was A Lonely Estate), The Appleseed Cast, Jioe de Vivre, Rainer Maria, Braid, Knapsack, Grown Ups, At The Drive-In, Sparta, Native, The Reptilian, Victor! Fix The Sun, Christie Front Drive, Boys Life, (Very very early, like pre-I am the Movie) Motion City Soundtrack, The Anniversary, M.I.J., Cap'N Jazz, American Football, The One Up Downstairs, Ghosts and Vodka, Colossal, Cursive, Jawbreaker, Hey Mercedes (ex-Braid), The Gloria Record (ex-Mineral), Pretty Girls Make Graves, The Promise Ring, Sunny Day Real Estate

the problem is a lot of the older guys claim that Emo died after the Revolution Summer. besides, Post-Emo does have its own style different form Emotive Hardcore. remember: MCR = not emo. Fall Out Boy = not emo. but by saying that post-emo is anything "emo" after 1992, it makes it too broad a statement

please make sense.

and all of those bands are post emo. If you believe that you've heard emo on the radio, then you've never heard REAL emo

wtf? who's these bands?
in top of all of "post" bands is our last night...

Our Last Night are as generic as generic fucking gets. I like post hardcore as a genre and despite that IMO Our Last Night are extremely forgetable. I can name off countless bands who play the exact same shit but make it sound 5 times better. BTW, what does Our Last Night have to do with this thread? Are you even paying attention? ...my guess is no.
