Wow...Very interesting topic we have here! I'm always interested in hearing what people have to say. But I was confused to see on the first page a few pictures put up of what is supposed to be black emo people. But I see just one and the rest dont even seem to be black but the very last one. Could the other be multi-racial?

I'm a very multiracial person. But just because I have some african-american in me it shouldn't make me any less of a person..not saying entirely that 100% black people are inferior. lol I straighten my hair no problem and agree the scene thing does seem to look better with straight hair. But should it really matter? I see some people have strong oppinions on race and ow people should act accordingly. Why should anyone care so much about how other live?

If Im not allowed to judge and make an appearance-based comment on the basis of one's appearance (which I presume would include skin color) and not avoid the ill-fated racist label so be it. No one is prohibiting them from being scenesters, thats racist. It's not racist if someone would prefer they do something else.
