Who said they didn't have passion in their lyrics?
They lived the punk life, and they could easily have believed what they were singing. Even if they were just put together.

The Misfits make more sense than Sex Pistols since Misfits are DIY and do as much as they can within the band, aand they dress themselves unlike the Pistols.

There's also the Freeze, one of the best hardcore bands to ever come out of Boston. They never changed their lifestyle and theyre still a hot fucking mess.

There was also that chick who liked to destroy tvs, she seemed pretty hardcore against the establishment, not like she was faking it.
