Call them twice a week to see if they've read your app/resumé. It shows you're serious about wanting to work there. I've been through some shit but all is goooood now

Have any of you crowd surfed?
What do you think of crowd surfers?
I want to do it at Warped this year, but I'm 5"6' and 150 (give or take).
I'm just nervous someone will steal my shoes or drop me five seconds after I'm in the air.

You'll be fine. If you were a dude a lot of people would think of dropping you but since your a chick a bit of chivalry remains in the concert venues and you shall surf the crowd harm free. Watch out for peeps piercings as well as crazy ass hair to get tangled in. I saw this chick at Coachella get thrown on stage it was awesome! Have fun.

I gotta be honest, around the time the fourth crowd surfer got dropped on my head last warped I went to, I started getting violent. Once or twice is cool, but don't be one of those jerks who does it all day and ruins the concert for the poor dudes in the front row. it's bad enough having someone dropped of you every 30 seconds. it's even worse when the bouncers and blocking your view trying to pull the surfers down

I agree. Unless it's that kinda show (watch Touche Amore play chain reaction), it just gets annoying. I'm thinking more in the context of smaller shows, not warped. If anything, I would think it would be less appropriate at warped.

Done it a few times, it's pretty fun even when you get dropped i find. I always unload all my stuff in my pokcets to the people i'm with though, just incase.
However, my girlfriend has done it a couple of times and just says that when girls do it, they get groped.

Have a good time whatever you do. And you should go see Every Time I Die while you're there.

Even when you get dropped? I feel like I'd be that kid that lands head first. I don't mind grabbing as long as they don't try to put their hands in any clothing items.

I guess it depends on which surface you're being dropped onto, in my case it's always been grass, which it fine, but i imagine concrete would be a different story.

Yeah I'm pretty sure all the stages are on gravel.
