Basically just post some songs that make you sad. Don't worry about what Ryan or anyone else says, just talk about it, I'm listening and I won't judge =)

About the saddest song I know.

I don't really listen to a lot of sad songs, sadly.

Hey OP nice fail list you've got going there.

I'd like to take this opportunity to add a few 'sad' songs that don't suck raw asshole... and believe me, there aren't very many of them (or at least in the sense of what most people would define as 'sad').

The Mountain Goats - No Children
Daggermouth - You Do This As A Fad, I Do This As A Lifestyle
...and most any song from The Saddest Landscape

done

Just the ones that get me, my friend. And btw those songs you said are pretty awesome I have to say. The Mountain Goats one is great. We are all affected by different songs

Hurt - Johnny Cash (Originally by Nine Inch Nails)
Two-Headed Boy Pt. 2 - Neutral Milk Hotel
Breezy - Conor Oberst
Samson - Regina Spektor
Call Me On Your Way Back Home - Ryan Adams
Venus and Bacchus - Seatia (you've got to understand the lyrics for it to seem sad)
I Don't Think I'll Ever Get Over You - Colin Hay

-Everything done by The Saddest Landscape
-Diary [Album] by Sunny day real estate. Sad but with an optimistic look forward
-Нет причин держаться отдельно... By the Bride of Changes
-We Build On Each Other by Fiction like non-fiction
-Pilgrims by Gauge means nothing
-In Good Hands by I have dreams. Though their entire demo is really sad in the remembrance of good memories.
-Art of Conversation by Kite flying society
-Clem and Jody Sweep in Dressed Like the Capitalist in a Communist Mural by tigers are out bears are in
-Thoughts paint the sky by Thoughts paint the sky

Not 20. But pretty depressing overall.

I listened to No children by the mountain goats. And I must Admit the lyrics are really amazing, the guy's voice fits perfectly too.

Confusing name nonetheless. I'll probably check some of their stuff later.

But Ryan, that's what it makes it sad.

OK, I'm reviving my n00bish thread and asking a mod to change the title to 'sad music'.

New concept: Similar to Marshall Banana's 'beautiful songs' thread, only with sad ones.
Post some sad music! NAO!

'Brick' by Ben Folds Five

'Nine Crimes' by Damien Rice

From the album '9'

The singer's wife caught him cheating, and he was so ashamed that he handed her a gun, held it up to his head and asked her to shoot him. She didn't, obviously.

Everything by tokyo (DD)

Candlemass - Samaritan. Made me cry when I listened to it the last time.
Snowman - We Are The Plague. Wait... makes me desperate
Smashing Pumpkins - the complete Machina I album
Strapping Young Lad - parts of Alien
Devin Townsend - the complete Ocean Machine album
Nirvana - Heart Shaped Box (Yes, me, who always found Nirvana so overrated. However Heart Shaped Box IS a very beautiful song.)

Oh, and everything by Dream Theater. So much talent wasted on masturbation is a reason to suicide.

A lot of the songs by The Avett Brothers. "I And Love And You" is pretty sad. I might try to find a YouTube link or something.

Found it. Too lazy to hit edit. Besides, it's not like we have any mods anymore.

Reported the spambot. If you do not see a spambot then it has been dealt with by now.
