but if you've known me for a while you'd know this is extremely far from what I'd normally listen to. there is just something about some of the bands coming out within the past two years in the post hardcore scene... it seems they took what SKSK were doing back when I was in high school and vastly improved upon it... hard to explain really. but that's vibe I get from this band at least.

I was told House Vs. Hurricane were basically an Attack Attack rip off band but the more I listen to them the more I realize that simply isn't true. House Vs. Hurricane may be a bit ridiculous and over the top with their synth inspired break downs but musically they aren't bad. I'm not saying they are an amazing band by any means, but they are fun to listen to. You can be mediocre and still be fun! ...and that's House Vs. Hurricane in a nut shell. If they used excessive auto tune I'd hate them.

Sienna Skies on the other hand are fucking rad. They remind me more of Scary Kids Scaring Kids only with way more screaming. The way this band uses their synth and how SKSK do are very similar. Not to mention both bands are equally as bouncy/catchy even when they are trying to be heavy. I love the 'aggressive pop' over tone in this shit. It's infectious.

Yah but I don't know you... at all, so just listen to what you find catchy/good etc. that's what I do anyway (YAY TO RAVE!!!)

hey, I like to expand my horizons sometimes... I'd drive myself up a wall if all I listened to was hardcore and screamo... blame Alex, he's been having me listen to tons of this stuff lately and I can't possibly hate all of it, some of it is just way fun to listen to.
