1)Ke$ha is Electronic/Dance not pop
2)She has openly stated in interviews that her lyrics are not meant to be taken literally
3)who else knows what her first big break was?

1. You're wrong
2. So I was right, we can't call her an artist
3. Her coke dealer's a producer?

I don't care if her music "was not meant to be taken literally". Little, impressionable children listen to her music. And they think it is cool to be a drunk, slut. Some people need to think about the shit they are singing. (if you can call what she does singing)

if you read about her life, you'll see that it's a rags to riches to story.
i love it, i love her.
i love it, i love her.

Yeah, she was living in a car, at one point in her life. This thread is stupid! Whoever is the OP is a loser! I am glad she has made it in life! Shows she isn't a poor lazy basterd after all.

So because you were poor at a point in your life, it's cool to sing an entire song about your drunk night and hangover? Many artists (using that word loosely) do it, but it still doesn't make it right.
By all means like her music. But don't use the fact that she was poor as a way to justify what she sings about
On a side note I do like Your Love Is My Drug by her.

I was kidding, sorta! Lol, are you telling people what to sing about? Lol, I am starting to think you didn't read anything I said! I said she had a hard life and glad she made it in life. Sooo, umm, yeah... She can sing about whatever she wants. Who are you to tell someone what to sing about? If she is rich because of her songs, she must be doing something right.

And no one used poor and music/sings/songs in the same sentence. You made it sound like it wasn't right/okay for her to sing about being drunk and hangovers. What makes her so different from other artist? Because you don't understand her life style? Because she sleeps with men? People are so lame! This thread is made out of hate. Waste of time spent hating on someone who will never know your name. Blah, people are so judgmental, they don't know her and automatically she is a slut, because she makes songs about being drunk.
I hate people!

People are lame. And how does you saying that make them or you any better?
And I'll say again. Let her sing her music. Go on listen to it have fun. She's an adult. She can sleep around and get drunk. But I'll say AGAIN, my main problem is that young, impressionable children are listening to her and they try to emulate her.
Everyone's taste in music differs. You like her, that's great. I don't.
