Humm thats a shame, and a bit of a dissapointment to here really, although in a way im kinda not surprised with anti-flag, but then even if their live act turns out shite at least ive still go all their old music and the message in that is as strong as ever. But, in what way do you think RATM have sold out? I'm usually of the opinion that you cant sell out unless you buy in and in my opinion, rage never bought in, not in the slightest, always seemed to me that they're just sending out their views via the medium of fucking amazing music.

Gutted about the pants incident aswell aha ;] sounds like a fun night though.

well i was backstage during the Big day out festival which RATM headlined this year. And it was disappointing when bands and everyone else wasnt allowed to be in the areas where they were walking to the stage and back. we had to stay inside the bar for example until they passed. They seem to beleive the sun shines out their asses thats all. at least their gig was awesome and i dislocated my wrist and got broken ribs in the mosh during their other gig so it was a hectic week really.

Yeah thats the problem with a lot of big bands nowadays (and, surprisingly enough, some smaller bands) they all think their gods gift and everyone else is below them. If i got big n famous i wouldnt be like that at all, of course, ill need a special talent/be able to sing/be able to play an instrument first =/

take up drums. thats what i did when i failed at guitar and bass. Less effort to learn and good anger outlet. plus u can abuse teh lead singer and he cant get after you cos he has to sing.

Well thats the thing, i can kinda play drums (admittedly not very well but better than guitar or bass) but they cost so fucking much i could never afford them, i only get to play if i go to a mates house who has drums. Although my girlfriend and 2 of my best mates are starting up a band now and they need a drummer so theyre looking out for cheap second hand drum kits for me. if this band ever gets together its gonna be so fuckin shite its unbelievable though haha. Its essentially just 3 people who play bass, no drummer, no guitar, no one can really sing, they have no money and all live in different places but hell itll be damn fun!

Yeah, drums are way too expensive... I was thinking of buying some, but went with getting an Xbox 360 instead! I don't even regret it is the sad thing, but oh well, i'm happy with my music. I have an acoustic guitar and some decent vocals after all... and I got Guitar Hero too!



On topic: Rise Against is pretty awesome, got really in to their stuff last year, but not so much this year, and the lead singer isn't what I imagined him to look like! Kinda scared me when I saw him!

this band was decent about 5 or 6 years ago, but their new music is mediocre at best... they need to seriously stop sucking peta2's dick... it's fucking irritating.

definitely lol but the new album has some stand-outs, like Re-Education Through Labour, Audience Of One and Hero of War

peta are kind of scary. Apparently they wanted fish re-named 'sea kittens'

I have only 3 words regarding peta: FUCK THAT SHIT

and it's amusing that Rise Against have a song titled Audience Of One. Audience Of One was the name of one of Anthony Greens first bands.
