The amount of daily posts here has plummeted recently, i come on every other day and there's bearly anything new.
We need more regularly occuring and interensting topics or a way to get a few new members, i've seen too many of my favorite forums just dwindle away like this, don't really want it to happen here too.

Pretty much. You'd have to convince people to come here. Advertising on places like Facebook might help. It's not as if people will just stumble upon our little home.

Would it be too much to ask to pool money for ads on facebook?

Not to mention the link from the old luv-emo to here hasn't been fixed. When you type in luv-emo.com/forum/forums.html it doesn't re-direct to here so people where not for-warned that the site was moving and/or becoming a whole new site. That's also how we lost members.

People tend to lose IQ points when they get on the internet. They might not figure out how to get here.

It's a vicious circle, once you start losing members, potential new members see the site as being inactive, and therefore don't join or stay active themselves. And however well people get on on a forum, when there's only a few of you left, it soon ends up dead.
Does anyone pay attention to things advertised on Facebook? I know i don't. Not to mention the vast sea of shit the ad would be swimming in.

without Chris, Sleep, or the Ryans, the music threads have kinda died. They were the only reason I came back to this place in the first place. I've tried to update the Screamo and Post-Emo with some more current bands, but there seems to be no interest. So I stopped

We made a new layout to attract more members and nothing.
We can't even keep the ones we have.

There is no such thing as a free, easy way to get a forum active, it's just luck.
Even posting 37,000 times on a forum isn't enough when you're the only person doing so isn't enough...

Not surprising, i bet it all of a sudden got a lot of traffic. I wonder what she does with her life now.
