A discussion of alcoholic drinks shall ensue!

Your favourite? Least favourite?

Let it loose.

I'm about whiskey, absinthe and wine.

I hate cider.

smirnoff ice wkd and all other alcolopops r nice coz they r sweet. theyre wat the alcohol industry used to hook u then pull u toeards stronger stuff
I consider this a myth created by...I don't know who. Before they existed we just mixed it ourselves.
Lost part of my memory once from Vodka Red Bull - I'm very careful with them since.

Though I don't really drink all that much.
Ha, and you think we believe that? Didn't you mention you're Finnish? :;

I never really drank a lot. Yeah, I know above sounds different, but honestly over all I didn't and don't.
I have weird drinking preferences. I dislike most stuff people normally drink (with the exception of Baileys) and rather go for mead, cider/cidre, Amarula, a good whisky (only Single Malt Scotch) or self-made liqueur.
I normally don't like beer or wine - even though I'm from a wine region in Germany.

This doesn't really relate to marriage, though.
Going off topic...what new thing for us. :;

I bes from the cider county (10 pts if u can tell me what tht is, hint its in the uk, and yeh fellow brits u can join in)
so i steal mi cider from my mother.
i like vodka but only in coke otherwise ill puke everytime i drink a mouthful lol. and it gives me terrible heart burn.
I like rum fudge but not rely rum, and chocoltes filled with whiskey, but nothing properly strong.

i hate dry wines, most white wines and cava. My cousin picks the best red wines though, so i drink them with her (she only lets me have half a glass tho lol)

i dont get much of a hangover except with vodka

You completely confused me with that! :blink: I was wondering what I said that was so offensive to get my post deleted...

We once made Absinthe ourselves. Didn't like it much.

It tastes fucking awful, but if you can get the stuff with wormwood extract in it; the taste is worth it.

You feel awful for a few days, but there's nothing like it for spurring creativity; ask van Gogh.

I still have both ears, by the way.

The hallucinations are fictional; and if anyone does have them, it's usually though the placebo effect.

If just gets you very trashed, very quickly.

I don't really have a favorite drink, but just so I can contribute to this thread, I'll say:

Mekhong whiskey - pretty good, actually. Tasted it for the first time about a year ago when I was in Thailand.

Beer is always good, especially when you're eating meat.

I hate "Gin", and although I dislike cider, there have been some occasions when I've enjoyed it. Though that could be because I was really drunk on those occasions, and it didn't really matter what I was drinking.

I once tried Absinthe and I doubt I´ll make that mistake again. Like Al said, it's pretty strong.

Elenir: It's true, I don't drink all that much. I´m the black sheep of Finland. Don't tell anyone.

But you don't normally drink Absinthe pure, do you?

Anyone drinks mead beside me?
Recently I only drink it on medieval markets, from my horn. :D Hot mead beats mulled wine anytime - but is harder to get.
Hm...I think I should get a bottle again soon...

No, but I drink a lot.

:D :;
Obviously you didn't grow up among LARPers...
Btw, there are smooth and dry kinds, like with wine.

No. But it's what I normally go by on the net. For some strange and unknown reason I decided on another name here. :dntknw:
You're all very welcome to call me like that if you want to.
