in what way do they display a "punk" ethic and approach to music?
do they hand make their own merch?
do they object to letting outside companies promote themselves through their music?
do they openly voice none contemporary opinions?
do they operate as an independent band?

they do none of those things... they are a mainstream controlled money making machine... there is nothing "punk" about that band, nothing what so ever... they are aggressive mainstream modern rock...

well, their older stuff was a bit edgy... the "aggressive" tag is to avoid mislabeling them as post hardcore like so many dolts seem to do (even though post hardcore would be stuff like Fugazi, Quicksand, and At The Drive In)

thats no away to judge a band. Linkin Park are one of the biggest bands in the present. they make a lot of money. ok the main objective of a band its to make good music that the public likes. "punk" doesnt mean that they are poor, that almost anyone ears them or something like that (and i know that LP are not punk so dont tell me that please) punk its a style. but you re right. some bands like metallica, linkin park.................. and other deserve a top stop bacause they write, compose and sing all of theire songs!!! thats the greatest attribute of a band in our days.

2. These guys were actually good to start with and 'Life is not a Waiting Room' far out does there other album (which I forget at the moment, not LIEY ).
3. I like this band simply because they are pretty raw for a pop punk band (not to be confused with punk, so none of you assholes better go 'lulz Darky toldid me it were punk')
4. At The Drive In.. I just called them post-rock.. am I wrong?

Senses fail = The WORST band live!!!! Trust me , never go to their shows! I dissapointed so much....but their studio songs are pretty awsome and lyrics too!
