North Of America are by far the best "up beat" poppy indie band to ever exist ...i'll link you guys to some of their stuff tomorrow... you can find some of their songs on myspace spread out through a few fan made profiles (along with their actual page)
great band, if you haven't listened to them you should consider checking them out.
