Texas Is the Reason was a musical group founded by former Shelter guitarist Norm Arenas and 108 drummer Chris Daly in 1994. A foundational quartet in the post-Sunny Day Real Estate movement of emo music, Texas Is the Reason played melodious but forceful rock music before disbanding in 1997.
I can even forgive them for influencing Funeral for a Friend. Honestly. The music was elegant yet forceful: they knew how to roll.

Blue Boy is quite Smashing Pumpkins-esque.... Although I should probably say that the other way around.

Well, I think I finally thought of how to act every time you
come around. I think I'm finally sick of faking it.
But I hate you all and that's for free and that's
what makes it easy for me. Well, it took me long enough.
