We've already come to the conclusion that the music forums are just an extension of LE, they are a completely different world when compared to the rest of the site. Just let little things like being a bit off topic go becuase honestly this forum is hardly even active as it is... we could use a few debates every now and then.

Ningage is a retard. Anthony Green can do anything he wants with his voice. I'm not too much of a Circa Survive fan, but his voice keeps me downloading their songs just to see what he'll pull off in the next one

Well, judging from that clip I hear nothing particularly impressive. There are probably hundreds of better singers.
Am I getting banned for saying this now?

Most of you guys (and Lady) really don't know anything about singing... You're free to dislike Anthony's voice as you have the right to an opinion but be informed on what it actually takes to hit the notes he is able to... it's extremely difficult and there are very few who are able to perform on a level even similar to his. If you listen to AG and are the type who thinks "oh, this dude just sings really high like a chick" then clearly you're ears are completely untrained and you should stop giving any sort of imput.

And I still keep saying: there are probably a few hundred singers that are better than him.
And Ryan, stop acting like a little kid, this is really ridiculous.

Meg says she wants you to give an example of a vocalist who is 'better' than Anthony Green.

And later on I'll look for examples (going out to dinner now). One thing that comes to my mind now is (of course) Freddie Mercury and Monserrat Caballé.
I KNEW you were going to say that... Freddie Mercury's voice sounds so nasally (sp?) it's not even funny. I can understand someone liking him over AG but to even compare the two? No... not a fair comparision.
What band was the last guy in? I'll look it up and I'll get back to you.
As far as the "what notes can he hit" the answer is everything!
I seriously DOUBT either of the vocalists you provided EVER sounded this on point live:
...either way, you've only listened to what... 1 or 2 songs from AG? How can you form an opinion on 5 minutes of his music?

Monserrat Caballé isn't a guy, she's a female opera singer.

There. You wanted someone that has a better voice than Anthony Green.
And as soon as I find a few more clips I will post them too. Anthony Green has a great voice and great talent at using his voice. But it is hard to say that he has the greatest voice.

Ah Charlotte Church is an amazing opera singer, and she's equally amazing any style of singing. Which is a quite an accomplishment; anyone can sing at the style that suits their voice, being able to adjust your voice to suit any style is what separates the good singers from the great ones.

And apparently, it's IMPOSSIBLE for Anthony Green to have any flaws whatsoever, because Ryan likes him.

No not even close.
When you look at modern rock and the all the sub genres within it as far as current times go there literally is no one better than Anthony Green. He is the best at what he does. The fact he relies completely on his NATURAL voice without using: falsetto, crescendo, decrescendo, pinch harmonics of any kind, snatch breaths.... NOTHING! Not to mention, he can scream in perfect key with excellent control... do any of you have any idea what it takes to be able to actually control a scream while maintaining proper pitch and key while STILL maintaining a considerable amount of clarity?! I think not!
I'm sure there are a few people better than Anthony, but at the same time there are billions of people worse... You can debate this all day but as far as raw unrestricted talent is concerned Anthony Green is the end all example. What hasn't the man down musically... hardcore, folk, rock, post hardcore, experimental, acoustic and I'm sure the list goes on. He doesn't have a nitch like so many other vocalists do, he doesn't have just one or two tricks he relies on... rather I don't even think he as an artist has reached his full potenitial yet, which means he continues improving still!
As I said before, if you doubt this man for even an instant it's because you're lacking in the knowledge and understanding of what it actually takes to successfully do what he is able to do. It has nothing to do with me being a fan of his, but rather with credit not being given where it's actually due.

Honestly, I don't get it. Oh, great he can hit high notes, whoop-de-fucking-do. So can Matt Bellamy.
And don't you even think about fucking banning me, Ryan.

You're missing the point completely. This goes far beyond just hitting high notes and you yourself even said "I don't get it" ...so if you admit that you don't get it why bother commenting.
